The French phrase “Ça colle” means “it sticks” – and that is the principle behind Sakol. These Velcro-edged wooden blocks give children more options for creating figures.

A Sakol set has five simple shapes: Rectangle and semicircle (both approximately 5 cm long), and triangle, square and circle (which are approximately half as long). All the pieces are made of wood with Velcro around their edges. This combination of materials gives Sakol its unique “edge” – Sakol bricks can be combined with ease and in any way.

Figures can be created with a few pieces - four pieces make a stroller, six form a man, and seven a motor-scooter. Frogs, fish, houses, fir trees or even a see-saw with two men can be built. Or make it a game and set targets – make a frog with as few pieces as possible.

Sakol has no age limits, and is safe for any age – from babies to adults. Sakol even can be used in the car because the Velcro keeps the bricks in place. Sakol is also ideal for therapeutic use with the elderly and/or disabled people. The tactile nature of the bricks adds a sensory element to construction and creation. Contains 20 pieces.
