The T-Class Racing Sloop is a fast-sailing model yacht and is elegant for display. It has been the most popular design in the Tippecanoe fleet, and there are now over 13,000 sailing!
The T-Class is a great sailing boat. She is self-righting, and can manage anything from light winds to gusts of 25 miles per hour! She sails beautifully in a swimming pool and in the open ocean, charging through foot-high waves with no problems!
The hull is made of American western red cedar and the fittings are solid brass. The Ship´s Papers are numbered for each boat.
Construction Notes (OBS: Instruktioner på ENGELSKA!):
This is a kit, not a completed sailboat. To complete the boat, you will need varnish (or paint), brushes and epoxy glue. A pair of pliers is also helpful.
For sailing, check out the Boat Reel: The T-15 sails beautifully on a light line. Let her sail out, give a tug on the line, and she will tack and sail right back to you. Besides, you would hate to lose your boat!
